on the Var slopes, while a refreshing glass of

While you are in the area, don't forget to visit
the perfume factories of Grasse, Vallauris, for
its ceramics and confectionery, the Vallée
du Loup, St Paul de Vence…

ideas At Domaine du Colombier a large choice of
activities is offered: swimming pools, a
fitness area, jacuzzi®, sports area, jeux
de boules and ping pong.
Pleasures you can alternate when discovering
the local countryside : the beauty of the
landscape, the art of living, the art of eating,
you can choose depending on what you want to
see, why not visit an olive oil mill, wine
caves, local craftsmen … Tuesday excursions
with Beltrame coaches to the Vallée du
Loup : 22 €. You will take in the Corniche
d’Or (the golden coast), until Cannes,
la Croisette and then Vallauris where
you will stop to do some shopping in the heart
of ceramic arts and crafts. A visit to a
pottery and demonstration is organized.
Then back on the road again towards Grasse and
then Gourdon for some lunch. In the afternoon
you will return through the Pont du Loup
where you will learn the trade of craftsmen
who transform the freshest flowers and fruit
in the area into sweets. Then onto Tourettes
and the last stop at Vence. Returning on the
motorway at about 7pm.
You might decide to visit Saint-Paul de Vence
on a Wednesday with the Beltrame coaches, 21.50€.
Driving along the Esterel coast and its red
rocks, continuing on the motorway until Saint-Paul
de Vence. You’ll wander around this picturesque
town well known for its artists (painters, actors
and writers...) with its little alleyways and
fountains. The Maeght foundation is worth a
visit. Return journey on the motorway at 6.30pm.
